As AI Engineer & Solution Architect, I traced a silent production failure across a distributed RAG ingestion pipeline and restored full retrieval coverage for a client’s document backlog.

Trace the failure across services

Diagnosed Azure Durable Functions orchestration, missing telemetry, and gaps in file-parser support using Application Insights, SQL, and vector database inspection.

02 / INGESTION

Extend document coverage

Built an XLSX parser on the existing parser interface, with full unit test coverage, extending a pipeline for PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents.

03 / RELIABILITY

Make reprocessing safer

Flagged incorrect data namespacing and duplicate-processing defects, and wrote documentation and reproducible test scripts for staged reprocessing.
